Don't leave home without it...

What to Bring:

  • Your UCR Student Identification Number (SID#).  This is a 9-digit number and can be found on MyUCR
  • Photo identification
  • Advanced Placement test scores (when available). Send these and any other placement exam scores in to Undergraduate Admissions in advance of your Bear Facts session dates. Also, remember to bring unofficial copies of your scores and transcripts with you to Bear Facts to show to your academic advisor.

  • Alarm clock
  • Casual comfortable clothes and walking shoes (our program involves substantial walking)
  • Change of clothes
  • Personal toiletries, bathrobe, shower footwear (there are shared bathrooms on each residence hall floor)
  • Notepad and pen or pencil
  • The Orientation brochure and any other UCR materials you may have questions about
  • A water bottle (filled with water or your favorite sports drink)
  • Spending money (you may have the opportunity to visit the Campus Store where UCR clothing and memorabilia are available for purchase (this is also where' you'll buy textbooks later on, but you won't need to worry about that yet); the Convenience Store in Pentland Hills will be open at night for snack purchases).
