2026 Fees
Signing Up & Cost of Attendance
- All students must sign up by June 12. We recommend signing up early as Orientation space fills up quickly. By mid-May, only a limited number of available spaces will remain.
- The Highlander Orientation fee for incoming first-year students is $300.
- The registration fee will be billed to student's Fall Statement of Account on R'Web in August. Payment is due Sept. 15, 2026. Payment options.
Family Orientation
- Guest Fee: The registration fee for guest for the 2026 program is $75 for guests ages 16+, and free for guests ages 15 and under.
- Spanish Language Family Program Fee: The registration fee for guests for the 2026 Spanish Language Family Program, which will be held on July 29, 2026, is $55.
- Payment for guests are due at the time of registration and may be paid by credit card. No cash accepted.
- Register early as space is "first-come, first-served" and there are limited spaces available.
Cancellations & Refund Policy
- If you register for Highlander Orientation and decide not to attend UCR, please notify our office that you, and any registered family members, will not be attending Orientation. You will also need to contact the Admissions Office directly to make your cancellation official.
- All guest fees are paid by credit card at the time and are non-refundable. If you would like to transfer a guest reservation to a different guest on your registration you may contact orientation@ucr.edu. All guests must be registered 10 business days in advance of the session date. Highlander Orientation does not permit on-site registrations.
